First of all, I would like to welcome you to Cairo Chapter’s website of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), an organization that has been and is still a resource for management accounting and finance profession since 1919.

Being IMA members, knowing the importance of the CMA designation, and having the passion for finance as a career are few of the things we all as IMA community have in common. With the increasing number of IMA members in Egypt, having a Chapter in the country that serves our community was not an option and accordingly the re-launching of Cairo chapter was done on October 10th 2012 after its freeze due to the local events.

Cairo Chapter is created to offer a range of services, as keeping the members updated with the latest standards and procedures in the finance field, promoting the managerial accounting and finance profession in Egypt, offering professional education programs to earn NASBA-approved CPE credits for CMA holders, supporting CMA candidates as well as providing leadership, mentoring, networking, and community service opportunities to all its members. Putting those services into action we all as board members are looking forward to have the chapter up and running, creating value to all our members and making sure that Egypt Chapter…was created and is there for you!
